Market-access documents, mapped to models
Gas Torch Certifications: CE, TÜV, UL, CPSC & More
Certificates are where torch sourcing projects stall — not because factories lack them, but because nobody mapped them to models before the order. This page does that mapping. The headline: CE certificates cover the GF-8010, GF-8011 and GF-8016 models with validity to 2028, and the wider documentation set includes TÜV, UL, CPSC and SGS records, ISO 9001 for the factory, the ISO 9994 and ISO 22702 product safety specifications, and a GB/T 38522-2020 national standard test report dated December 2025.
Two rules govern how we present certificates. First, coverage is stated only where it is confirmed — the table below shows exactly which model carries which record, and everything not confirmed is marked "on request" rather than implied. Second, certificate copies travel with your RFQ: tell us the model and target market, and the applicable set is included with the quotation so your registration or vendor-onboarding file is complete before you confirm the order.
Standards matter as much as stamps. The factory operates under ISO 9001, and the product category is aligned with ISO 9994 and ISO 22702 — the international safety specifications for lighters and utility lighters, covering flame height, flame extinguishing, drop resistance and related requirements. For the United States, lighter categories are additionally subject to child-resistance rules enforced by the CPSC. Our export team works to the documentation set each destination market expects, and 40+ countries of export experience sit behind that process.
Professional tool, not a toy: read the manual before use and keep away from children. Fuel canisters are not included — purchase them locally according to your local regulations.

What each record covers
Nine records, each explained in one paragraph: what the certificate or standard addresses, and what it means when you register the product in your market. Scope details beyond what is stated here are confirmed with the certificate copies themselves.
CE
CE certificates cover the GF-8010, GF-8011 and GF-8016 models and are valid to 2028. This is the record European buyers ask for first; copies are shared with RFQ requests.
TÜV
Test records issued under the TÜV system. TÜV bodies are independent testing organizations, and their reports are widely accepted in vendor-onboarding files. Copies on request.
UL
In the UL system, the applicable product standard for hand-held fuel-gas torches is UL 147, covering air-aspirating hand-held torches for operations such as heating, soldering and brazing (per UL Standards & Engagement). The factory holds UL-related records; scope details are shared with RFQ requests.
CPSC
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission enforces child-resistance requirements for lighter categories under 16 CFR 1210 (pocket lighters) and 16 CFR 1212 (multi-purpose lighters) (per eCFR). The factory holds CPSC-related records for the US market; copies on request.
SGS
Records issued by SGS, an independent inspection, testing and certification company. Buyers often use SGS reports as neutral third-party evidence in channel onboarding. Copies on request.
ISO 9001
The factory operates under ISO 9001, the international quality-management standard. It structures how processes, records and corrective actions are managed across the 8,000 m² base.
Quality-control systemISO 9994
ISO 9994 sets basic safety requirements for lighters — specifically maximum flame height, drop resistance and resistance to high temperatures (per ISO). The product category is aligned with this specification.
ISO 22702
ISO 22702:2018 specifies safety requirements for flame-producing consumer products commonly known as utility lighters — grill lighters, fireplace lighters, lighting rods and gas matches (scope per ISO 22702:2018). This is the specification that maps to the long-reach torch category.
GB/T 38522-2020 report
A test report against GB/T 38522-2020, the applicable Chinese national standard for this product category, dated December 2025 — the compliance anchor for domestic registration and a useful reference in any market.

Coverage is stated only where confirmed. Where a cell says "on request", the applicable record set is confirmed with your RFQ — we do not imply coverage that the certificates do not show.

Getting the documents
Certificate copies, the honest way
How the process works
Certificate copies are available on request — we do not post them for open download, because each document carries a scope that should be read against your specific order and market. Send an RFQ with the model and target market, and the applicable certificate set travels with the quotation.
Request the set with an RFQUsing them in your market
Most buyers need certificates for three jobs: channel onboarding, marketplace category approval and market registration. Tell us which one you are preparing for — we map the document set to it, and the export team flags anything your destination market additionally expects.
