Compatibility questions decide more returns than build quality does: a torch that cannot find its fuel in a local shop is a torch that disappoints, whatever its flame specification. This guide maps canister formats to the ZHENTANZHE line - the GF-series torches and the ZTZ-8020 Five-Star Burner - and explains how to check the fit before you order, how adapters work, and what can be customized for your market. Ground rule first: we manufacture torch bodies, so fuel canisters are not included with any model; users purchase fuel locally according to local regulations.

Three things decide whether a canister works with a torch: the fuel family, the valve interface and the tool's rated operating envelope. Get the first two wrong and the tool simply will not connect or feed correctly; get the third wrong and it works in summer but struggles in the season your users actually need it. The short answer
The GF-series torches (GF-8010, GF-8012, GF-8016) run on butane and high-altitude canisters with the European-style valve interface - the dominant cartridge format in many markets. Other canister formats require the adapter specified for the model. The ZTZ-8020 Five-Star Burner accepts the same canister fuels and, through its 600 mm separate hose, also supports long canisters and gas-tank cylinders - useful for base-camp cooking where bulk fuel beats pocket cartridges.

"Direct fit" means the canister is a listed fuel in the model's manual. Adapters must be the ones specified by the manufacturer for that model - never improvised. Operating envelope for the line: -30°C to 30°C.
How to check compatibility before you order
- Read the manual's fuel section first. It names the fuel family and the interface the tool was engineered around - that list is the contract.
- Match the interface, not just the fuel. Two butane canisters can share a fuel and not share a valve. The connection must seat and lock as designed.
- Check the envelope against your climate. The line is rated -30°C to 30°C; cold-region programs should pair the tool with high-altitude blends from day one.
- Verify the adapter, if you need one. It should be specified by the manufacturer for that model, with its own instructions - not a generic fitting from a mixed drawer.

Cold weather and high-altitude blends
As temperatures fall toward freezing, butane vaporizes more slowly and the flame shrinks unless the canister is formulated for it - which is exactly the job of high-altitude blends. The rated -30°C to 30°C operating range covers serious winter work when the right blend is in the tool, and spare canisters are kept warm and rotated rather than fought while starved.
