OEM Torch Project Checklist: Logo to Loading

An OEM torch project rarely fails on manufacturing - it fails on sequence: artwork approved after tooling, compliance checked after production, documents assembled after booking. This checklist lines the project up in the order that keeps it on schedule, from model selection and branding through samples, production, export documents and loading. Where numbers matter they are the published ones: a MOQ of 500 pieces for OEM orders (100 for stock models) and a 15-20 day lead time after deposit - both of which assume the checklist was finished on time. Fuel canister note: torches ship as bodies and accessories only; end users purchase fuel locally per local regulations.

Use the table as a phase gate: each phase ends with a named output, and no phase starts before the previous output is signed. The checklist works for any factory; the notes column shows how ZHENTANZHE runs it so you can compare.

The project checklist

OEM torch project checklist - phase gates from logo to loading
Phase What gets locked Gate output
1. Model and specification Model choice against application; rated specs on file - flame up to ~1300°C and ~50 cm (±10 cm), 5,000+ ignitions, -30°C to 30°C range, materials and weights per model Signed specification sheet
2. Destination compliance Standards and documents your market requires; certificate copies with model coverage and validity dates requested Compliance brief for the order file
3. Branding Logo placement and colors from the customization list; artwork in print-ready form Approved artwork proof
4. Packaging and manual Retail box design, carton marking, manual languages (complete translations, safety text intact) Packing specification + manual sign-off
5. Canister interface Interface area adaptation to your market's dominant canister format; adapter plan where needed Interface note in the order spec
6. Sample and acceptance Sample built to the signed spec; tested against written acceptance criteria; sample fee credited against the bulk order Signed sample approval
7. Production and QC Deposit placed; ERP-managed production; 20+ per-unit tests including air-tightness, ignition, pressure and backfire; AI self-check on the line Production complete + QC records
8. Export documents and booking Commercial invoice and packing list aligned with the packing spec; dangerous-goods packaging requirements for lighter-type goods confirmed with the forwarder; payment terms as contracted (commonly T/T or L/C) Booking + document set
9. Inspection and loading Pre-shipment inspection (yours or third-party) against the phase-6 criteria; container loaded to the plan; carton counts verified Loaded container + inspection report

Timeline frame: 15-20 days after deposit for production, on the published MOQ of 500 pieces OEM / 100 pieces stock - provided phases 1-6 are closed first. Every open decision left in phase 7 becomes a delay priced in days.

Why the sequence is the schedule

Notice what the gate order protects. Branding (phase 3) sits before production because a late logo change invalidates printed packaging and sometimes the product surface treatment. Compliance (phase 2) sits before everything because discovering a missing document after production means warehousing goods you cannot ship. The sample (phase 6) sits before the deposit because the sample fee is credited against the bulk order - so the cheapest place to find a design error is the sample round, and the most expensive is the loading dock. Factories that quote a 15-20 day lead time are quoting this sequence; buyers who run a different sequence are quoting a different project.

What the factory brings to each gate

The comparison points a buyer cares about: an ignition-tools line built since 2000, an 8,000 m2 research and production base in Wenzhou running ERP-managed flow, 100+ domestic and international patents including the GF-8012 design patent, exports to 40+ countries, and the 20+ per-unit test regime. Those are also the answers phases 2, 7 and 8 draw on - certificates from the file, QC records from the line, export documents from shipments that already run on this checklist.

Starting the checklist

To open a project, send four items: model, quantity, destination market and branding intent. Those four answers let phases 1-3 be quoted together, and the OEM/ODM program page details what each customization item includes. For anything order-specific - artwork formats, packing details, document sets - the RFQ form routes your brief directly to the project side rather than a general inbox.

Professional tool, not a toy. Read the manual before use. Keep away from children. Fuel canister not included — end users purchase fuel locally per local regulations.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for custom torches?

ZHENTANZHE works with a MOQ of 500 pieces for OEM orders and 100 pieces for stock models. The 100-piece stock tier lets new brands validate a market before committing to full custom volume.

How long does production take?

The standard lead time is 15-20 days after the deposit is received, assuming artwork and specifications are already approved. That is why the checklist front-loads branding, packaging and compliance decisions before the deposit rather than during production.

Is the sample fee refunded?

The sample fee is credited against the bulk order, so once production proceeds the sample round is effectively free. Budget it, test the sample against the acceptance criteria, and let the credit flow into the order.

What can be customized on an OEM torch order?

Logo, colors, packaging, manual languages and canister-interface area adaptation - the five customization items ZHENTANZHE lists for OEM and ODM orders. Each is locked at a specific phase of the checklist; changing items mid-production is what causes delays.

How is quality controlled before shipment?

Every unit passes 20+ factory tests - air-tightness, ignition, pressure, backfire and more - under ERP-managed production with an AI self-check system on the line. Buyers are welcome to add their own inspection layer on top before booking.
